I’ll be participating in an educational event related to “The California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act” this Friday, March 23rd, from 7-8:30 pm.
The event, entitled “What Am I Eating? A Raphael Garden Community Conversation,” will be held on the Rudolf Steiner College campus in Fair Oaks, CA.
Update (April/2012): The presentation I gave at the Rudolf Steiner College event has been posted on the Resources page of this blog.
I am interested in any published studies on humans and GMOs, whether they are epidemiological or trials, in vivo or in vitro. I want to bring them to my CME provider (UpToDate) to encourage their inclusion in the database. From the little I’ve seen, the part that’s apparent is the ubiquity of GMO substance: Canadian study showing Bt toxin in high percentage of blood of pgn women and babies, German study showing 100% of city dwellers had GMO-related (Roundup, I believe) substance in urine. This is enough to say: it’s time to take a deeper look at what is happening in human physiology — GMOs are everywhere, and we know nothing.
